Mrs. Tommie Lee Few Eveland, 80, of Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Stigler, died March 24, 2006 in Berryville, Arkansas.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Mallory Chapel with Rev. Coy Mike Few officiating.
Burial followed at Mountain Home Crematory under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory.
Pallbearers included George Buchanan, Joe Hicks, and Brian Williams, Russell Williams, Chris Williams, and Michael Leis.
Honorary pallbearers were Shawn Eveland, Zane Sherman, Aaron Wallin, Marcus Cleveland, and Joey Williams.
Eveland was born October 8, 1925 in Beaver Mountain to Henry Burton Few and Emma Brents Few. She loved traveling and
gardening, especially growing zinnias and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren.
She is survived by five daughters, Emma Wallin and husband Jim of Sedgwick, Kansas, Linda Roberts and husband Chris of
Wichita, Kansas, Charlotte Eveland of Newton, Kansas, Michelle Williams and husband David of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and
Chastity Sprenger of Newton, Kansas; one son, Shawn Eveland of Newton, Kansas; 10 nephews, Coy Few, Bob Few, Adon Few, Henry
Few, and Johnny Few, all of Stigler, Ronnie Few of Alva, Dale Few of Stigler, Norman Eveland, Gerald Eveland, and Kenny Eveland,
all of Wichita, Kansas; 8 nieces, Bonnie Sand and Kay Barlow of Stigler, Doris Risenhoover and Nola Stockton of Oklahoma City,
Linda Voss of McAlester, Patsy Coleman of Stillwater, Bonnie Jean Turner of Woodward, and Velma Fern Wagon of Stigler; 18
grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil, one son, Leslie Dewayne, and one granddaughter, Crystal Lee Hicks.
