This looks like the remains of some unknown animal.  Has anybody got any ideas?  An expert told me that this is a trace fossil, thus its inclusion on this page.  Maybe it is the cast of an invertebrate animal.

Look at the light-colored anomoly on the center left side of the photo, does it looks like it could be the remains of an invertebrate animal?

I was told that this is a trace fossil.  Any ideas on what it might be?
